Jeff Wyckoff, President of the American Rose
Society, and past President of the Seattle Rose Society has
graciously offered to teach 5 classes. He will be sharing his
expertise about roses, specifically roses which do well in the
Pacific Northwest climate. All of the classes except the April 17
class will be in the North SeaTac Community Center Multi-Purpose
Room from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by time in the Celebration Rose Garden to demonstrate skills
taught in the class. The April 17th class will be held in the
Rose Garden.March 20 Pruning and Early Spring Care April 17 -- Planting May 15 Disease and Insect Control June 12 Plant Selection & Watering July 17 Deadheading and Summer Care with Possible Field Trip to the Wyckoff Garden. Classes will be $5.00 each for members of the Highline Botanical Garden Foundation, and $10.00 each for nonmembers. You may sign up for as many of the classes as you would like. You dont have to take all of them. |
