Presented by the King County Iris Society and Pierce County Iris Society, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn from experienced local iris growers.
The workshop will include:
– An introduction to the various categories of bearded iris
– Practical guidance on how to successfully grow and care for them
– Time for your specific questions
– Weather permitting, a short walk in the garden to view iris plantings and discuss them in situ
As a bonus, a few attendees will take home potted iris as door prizes!

HOURS: Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden is open from dawn to dusk every day, excluding federal holidays and private events.
PETS: Dogs on a leash are permitted in the garden. Please refrain dogs from playing in the ponds, streams and fountains. Clean up after pets.
