The Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden is complimentary and open to the public from dawn to dusk daily, excluding federal holidays. It’s a great place to picnic, take a break or explore to/from the Seattle Tacoma International Airport.

Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden partners with plant enthusiasts around King County to create spectacular beds of iris, daylily, fuchsia, and rose.

 

Parking

Free and handicap accessible parking is conveniently located.

Access

Most paths in the garden are mobility device  accessible.

Open dawn-dusk every day except federal holidays.

PETS

Well-behaved, leashed dogs welcomed. Please keep dogs out of all water features and clean up after pets.

Conveniently located minutes from the SeaTac Airport, the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden is a great place to visit along the way coming or going. It is also just off Interstate 5 and easily accessible to people in the vicinity.

Garden Etiquette & Guidelines

  • Dogs and other pets must be leashed at all times; please clean up after your pet.
  • Leave all flowers, plants, fruits, seeds, etc. for everyone to enjoy.
  • Respect our plants and remain on paths or lawn areas.
  • Do not walk in plant beds or climb on rocks.
  • Stay out of the ponds and other water features.
  • Do not approach or feed wildlife.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the Garden.
  • Bicycles, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards and other recreational vehicles arenot allowed in the Garden. Please leave them at home, or enjoy them at the BMX in North SeaTac Park.
  • Do not disturb plant labels. If you are curious about a plant or bed, please email picture to info@highlinegarden.org and we will do our best to identify it for you.
  • Drones are not allowed in the Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden or any part of North SeaTac park.
  • Supervise children at all times. Ensure that they stay on pathways and lawns at all times and do not enter plant beds or climb on rocks. A children’s play area is available at the SeaTac Community Center.
  • Commercial photography shoots on Garden grounds require a permit. Make sure tripods do not encroach on plant beds or block paths. (See our photography page for more information.)
  • If you plan to bring a large group (more than ten) on a self-guided tour, notify us in advance by email.
  • Be mindful of other guests; use headphones and keep your volume low.
  • Please help us prevent vandalism by reporting it immediately to 206.391.4003.

ADMISSION/VISITING

COMPLIMENTARY Admission for all visitors.

HOURS: Highline SeaTac Botanical Garden is open from dawn to dusk every day, excluding federal holidays and private events.

PETS: Dogs on a leash are permitted in the garden. Please refrain dogs from playing in the ponds, streams and fountains. Clean up after pets.
