For your privacy and enjoyment, we close an entire heritage garden for weddings and other private events. You choose an intimate setting in either the Seike Family Japanese Garden, gather by the rustic pergola next to the pond, or our showcase Celebration Rose Garden.
The Celebration Rose Garden consists of a 30 x 70 foot Event Lawn with room for up to 100 seated guests, surrounded by romantic rose bushes and climbers on arches and pillars. Other areas of the garden are available for smaller gatherings. Garden staff will gladly scatter rose petals for your wedding aisle and fill a small basket for a flower girl if you wish. Electricity is available only in the Celebration Rose Garden. There is one all-gender portable toilet inside the garden.

RENTAL GUIDELINES
Chairs and other items needed for any event are the responsibility of the renters.
The rental fee is $150 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum. A $150.00 Booking Fee is due at the time the reservation is made with the balance to be received 30 days prior to the event. The Booking Fee is not refundable.

WHAT IS ALLOWED
- Dogs must remain on a leash.
- Music, either live or recorded.
- Food, either catered or provided by renters.
- Alcohol including champagne, wine and/or beer, as long a One Day Banquet License is obtained from the Washington State Liquor Control Board.
WHAT IS PROHIBITED
- No decorations or other items placed on or in any garden plantings, structures, or trees.
- No silly string, artificial flower petals, rice, confetti, seeds, or popcorn.
- No use of drones or the release of birds or helium balloons.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
CANCELLATION
In the event of a cancellation by the wedding party, written notice must be received 20 days prior to the event for a full refund. Any cancellation received less than 20 days prior to the event will result in a $75 forfeiture of the deposit, as a processing and planning fee.
REFUNDS
Refund payments will be returned in the form of a check from the Gardens. Please allow 30 days for processing.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Although rain in Seattle is far less frequent in the summer, you need to consider that inclement weather could occur on the date of your wedding. We strongly urge you to plan for an alternate location, perhaps the North SeaTac Community Center at the Garden site. If you must cancel at the last minute because of the weather, it will still be necessary for us to withhold $75 from your deposit.
PROXIMITY TO THE AIRPORT
The botanical garden is in close proximity to SeaTac International Airport. Landings and take-offs occur frequently and unpredictably. Please visit and spend some time in the Garden to be sure you are comfortable with the overhead flight noise.
